Nepean and Mountains Animal Hospitals provide a high quality veterinary service to the people and pets of Greater Penrith and the Blue Mountains. We focus on providing well informed, compassionate and professional care. We also provide a number of peripheral services including boarding, grooming, an ambulance service, puppy preschool, senior pets’ information evenings, slimmers and dental clubs, and home visits. We are the only veterinary hospitals in the area to provide a genuine 24 hour emergency service 7 days a week for all the people and pets of Penrith, Blue Mountains and surrounds, whether you are a registered client or not. In addition to our emergency service, we also offer all-night monitoring by one of our vets for patients who are in need of critical care. We are extremely proud of the emergency service and all-night monitoring service that we offer as this takes a very high level of dedication and commitment to our clients and their pets. The peace of mind that these services give to our clients cannot be understated and have contributed to our reputation as Hospitals who will always go the extra mile.
Our Veterinary Hospitals are fully equipped with a range of available services including radiology, pulse oximetry and blood pressure monitoring. We also have full in-house pathology facilities, which means that most blood tests have results available within the hour.
We have a strong commitment to continuing education and pride ourselves on providing best practice medicine to our clients. This involves reading the latest journals and textbooks, and attending veterinary seminars and conferences. All of our Veterinarians and nurses attend further education courses to keep our knowledge up to date and our medicine ahead of the field.
